We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated** Maintenance/Handyperson** on a fixed term contract for our exceptional hotel. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the Hotel maintenance and appearance.

**Job Description** The Role**

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role is responsible for general repair and maintenance tasks throughout the property.
- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Responding to guest room issues including faulty appliances, air conditioning and lighting
- Minor plumbing repairs such as replacing tap washers
- Grouting and minor tile repairs
- Furniture and equipment repairs
- Conducting daily checks on plant and equipment
- Assisting with other maintenance projects

**Qualifications** What we are looking for**
- Previous experience in a property maintenance or general handyperson role, preferably within a hotel environment
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- A meticulous approach to getting the job done
- Strong time management and organizational skills
