About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioner You will provide outreach case management support to women and women with children who have experienced and or are currently experiencing family violence.
Responsibilities include
- Effective relationships are established with clients that encourage self-determination
- Case management support provided to clients
- Individual case plans are developed in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions that address the needs or goals of clients
- Case plans are implemented and actively led by the participant
- Clients are assisted to access holistic support services and establish community connections
This is a fixed-term full-time position, contracted until June 2025, based in Frankston, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.
You will have
- A Tertiary qualification in Social Work _(essential)_
- Experience working in the family violence sector_ (desirable)_
- Experience in specialist family violence and/or child well-being work _(highly desirable)_
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision required
- Advanced computer skills including experience in data and record management
