**What You Will Be Doing**

Peninsula Health has two retail business units across the health service. The Cafés are operated and managed by an in-house team as part of Support Services. We have two cafes located at Frankston hospital on level 2 and 3 our client base caters for Patient, Visitors and Peninsula Health Staff.

The Support Services Assistant is involved in the day to day operation of the café’s whilst creating an environment that is welcoming to existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Serving Patients, staff and visitors in the café’s including the making of coffees.
- EFTPOS transactions.
- Help manage all regulatory requirements relative to Food Safety & Waste Management.
- Ensuring an effective customer service is delivered at all times.

Essential Criteria
- Food Safety Certificate (post 2017)
- Accepts responsibilities for own actions
- Uses a polite and considerate manner when dealing with others
- Understands how individual jobs impact on the work area’s service delivery
- Previous experience in a similar position will be highly regarded
