Maxima's Recruitment Services are seeking a Revenue Program Coordinator for a position with their Local Government client.

This is a temporary assignment working full-time hours through to 7 September 2024, with the possibility of extension.

**About the Role**

Working within the finance branch, this will be a leadership role working alongside the Program Leader and Principal Revenue Advisor.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating the Revenue Team operation to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate revenue services through rates, property searches and recoveries
- Providing operational leadership across the teams within the revenue program
- Proactively identifying team training and development needs, gaps and opportunities
- Allocating work to achieve an equitable and meaningful distribution of tasks
- Delivering expert technical advice to all levels of Council on revenue services related matters
- Coordinate tenders for applicable supplier contracts, as required
- Coordinating and managing processes across the Program, including business critical processes such as the quarterly rates and charges process run in conjunction with Logan Water and Council’s suppliers.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accountancy, Commerce or Finance Management or equivalent experience
- Extensive leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting relevant legislation
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination and administration of automated finance related systems.
