Coast Shelter is a leading Central Coast not for profit charity assisting families, adults and young people with complex issues arising from their experience of homelessness, abuse and neglect. Our organisation is driven by our mission to deliver innovative solutions to address homelessness, violence and poverty to achieve immediate and lasting changes.

We are a Tier 3 community housing body and the largest Specialist Homelessness Service in Regional NSW. We operate 9 crisis shelters, a Community Centre and more than 50 outreach properties, housing over 150 people across the Central Coast every night.

At Coast Shelter, you’ll be joining a team of committed staff and volunteers who work to end Homelessness and Domestic and Family Violence within our community. **The Role**

LOVE BiTES is a well-established Respectful Relationships Education Program created by the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) for young people aged 11-17 years that has been facilitated in schools across Australia since 2004.

We are currently looking for a passionate facilitator to assist with delivering NAPCAN’s full suite of Love Bites and Love Bites Junior programming across Central Coast schools.

**All about You**

You are a skilled facilitator who is experienced working with young people and are comfortable in working in the area of sexual assault and relationship violence. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and are driven to make a difference in the lives of young people through early intervention programs.

To be considered for the position you must be able to address the essential criteria below;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Community Sector Services
- Presentation, organisation, and facilitation skills
- Strong administration skills and ability to prepare any reporting or presentation requirements
- An understanding of community impact from sexual assault and domestic violence
- Experience working with young people in a group setting
- Knowledge of local referral support options for young people and their families
