Position Title: Consultant Paediatrician -Fractional Specialist
Classification: HN16 - HN59 (Fractional hours negotiable (0.25 +)
Salary per hour (exc. super): $156.29 - $215.80 (dependent on Specialist Year Level and FTE)
Hours per fortnight: 17.5 - 70 hours (0.25 - 0.92 FTE) Hours negotiable
Employment Status: Ongoing Part-Time

Other requirements: Ahpra Specialist Registration, Successful credentialing, COVID-19 Vaccinations plus Booster

**Role Description**

Bendigo Health is seeking a General Paediatrician, ideally with a dual qualification in Neonatology another paediatric specialty for a permanent consultant position commencing no later than February 2024. Come and enjoy the regional paediatrician lifestyle by joining our team of 8 Consultant Paediatricians with ward service 1 in 9 weeks, on calls and outpatient clinics (EFT to be negotiated with successful applicant - minimum EFT is 0.25. You will manage all aspects of paediatric care in our new hospital; including neonates down to 32 weeks, general paediatric inpatients, adolescents, forensic assessments (supported by VFPMS), consultation for surgical paediatric patients and an increasing number of subspecialist services. You will be supported by a 24 hour onsite paediatric advanced trainee and resident and 8 supportive and collegial paediatric colleagues. Our team aims to provide high quality care in a fun and caring workplace. Bendigo Health moved into its new hospital in 2017 and is the regional referral centre for a large catchment from Woodend to the NSW border. The new facilities include a 12-16 bed Children’s ward and a 10-12 bed Level 4 Special Care Nursery. There is ready access to MRI and nuclear medicine.
