**Role and Responsibilities**

CAE is seeking a suitably qualified person to support the MH-60R training system at HMAS Albatross in Nowra.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate Tactics Instructor Station (TIS) to support training missions, and participate in simulator training exercises by role playing as flight crew and external communication/co-ordination roles.
- Set up all TOFT or applicable WTT trainer requirements, and respond to changing mission requirements.
- Insert initial scenario conditions and parameters, ensuring that the integration of the various portions of the trainer and training scenario are completed prior to the start of the scheduled mission.
- Ensure all discrepancies and/or malfunctions determined during training are properly documented and provided to the maintenance team.
- Simulated Synthetic Environment generation and manipulation while operating in live support environments alongside aircrew instructors
- Assist the maintenance team in troubleshooting by utilizing experiences and expertise gained during the support of the customer

**Essential Experience**:

- Possess knowledge of RAN operations, capabilities, and tactical relationships.
- ** Note**:As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Practical understanding of Seahawk sensor suite
- Have a good understanding and working knowledge of the Seahawk operational capabilities and limitations
- Being able to work well in a team environment
- Able to work autonomously.
