Disability Support Worker

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Managing challenging behaviors should it arise
- Transport the participants as required
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures
- Assist and administer medications
- Providing timely and accurate case notes
- Personal care and manual handling
- Support participants to participate in age appropriate activities, in home support and community access
- Readiness to work both in Community and accommodation.
**Essential criteria**
- Driver’s License
- A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (doses 1, 2 and booster)
- Experience working with individuals who are vulnerable
- Assisting participants with daily activities / in-home support as required
- Nationally accredited First-aid certificate
- NDIS Workers Check or willing to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check
- Passion to go above and beyond.
