This role assists with the delivery of a high-quality patient centred rehabilitation service for CALHN and other service health units including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and the Centre for Physical Activity in Ageing.

The AHP 2 Exercise Physiologist provides exercise physiology services as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. In this role the exercise physiologist works in collaboration with other members of the team to effectively plan and provide therapeutic interventions based on client goals as well as provide exercise physiology interventions and services which support patient health outcomes. This role promotes patient centred practice within the Ward services and incorporates evidence-based service delivery into daily practice. The position delivers services to a complex client group, under supervision, including individuals with a diagnosis of cancer or other conditions resulting in functional decline or identified patient need.

**Qualifications**

An appropriate degree or an equivalent qualification that entitles accredited membership with the Exercise and Sports Science Australia as well as accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist.

The Exercise Physiologist provides support, consultation and supervision to allied health assistants and students within the Ward to ensure effective teamwork and provision of a high quality service.
