We are currently collaborating with an exceptional National Law Firm, seeking a knowledgeable and driven Workplace Relations Lawyer to join their Melbourne based team. You will have the opportunity to join a well-established employment team to relate advise and representation to a wide range of international, national, and ASX-listed clients across varied matters.
**The Role**
In this role, you will be assisting clients across a range of industries including health and aged care, professional services, property and construction, financial services, retail, technology and government. This opportunity will allow you to handle matters relating to issues such as post-employment restraints, unfair or unlawful dismissal, industrial disputes, compliance with workplace laws, organisational change strategy and management, sexual harassment and bullying, and workplace health and safety, and complex workplace investigations.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Have a demonstrated experience working in a highly regarded employment practice
- 2-4 PQE
- Excellent drafting skills
- Provide excellent customer service while working with, guiding and learning from clients
- Knowledge and a strong understanding of Australian employment laws including:
- employment disputes;
- employment contracts;
- industrial relations;
- enterprise bargaining;
- dismissal claims;
- discrimination claims;
- workplace bullying;
- restraint of trade claims;
- transfer of business;
- independent contractors;
- Fair Work Act compliance; and
- work health and safety.
