- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Supervise a small laboratory with one other medical scientists in a multi-disciplinary setting (Biochemistry, Haematology//Blood Bank)
- This role is hands on, and you will be required to perform laboratory work as part of your duties.

- flow to meet client’s requirements
- Ensure results are released within agreed turnaround times
- Liaise with senior staff and Pathologists regarding unusual and abnormal results
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is maintained in optimal condition and working order, all scheduled routine maintenance is performed, and any unscheduled maintenance is performed as required
- Review and update all laboratory documentation as required

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Tertiary Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- Must hold AIMS accreditation
- At least 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful partnerships
- Experience in working under tight deadlines to meet day to day targets, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks within set timeline
- Results orientated and a proactive and effective problem solver
- Proven skills in defining, prioritising, and organising competing tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to always demonstrate the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity
