**Circulation Clerk**

Library & Heritage

**Part time - 38 hours per fortnight**

**Salary Range is $62,000 - $68,000 per annum (pro-rata) per annum (inclusive of 10% loading for working across 6 days of the week) plus 11% super**

**_ New Industrial Agreement 2024 with pay rises in July 2024, 2025 & 2026_**

**What You Will Be Working On**

As a Circulation Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting automated circulation tasks and assisting library users.
- Assisting with borrower registrations and providing materials to homebound patrons.
- Managing financial transactions and participating in community engagement activities.

**About You**

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Strong digital skills and proficiency in using library technology.
- Familiarity with public library operations and readers’ advisory.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management abilities and teamwork.
- Awareness of current reading trends and general knowledge.
- Demonstrate an ability to interpret procedures effectively
- Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
