**Are you ready to take on a pivotal role supporting our Senior Manager in Open Space Planning for the NSW Government? We seek a dynamic and agile individual to lead strategic and statutory planning matters, project manage Plans Management for Greater Sydney Parklands parks, and prepare detailed project briefs to drive urban design projects forward.**

**Your Responsibilities Include**:

- Supporting the Senior Manager in strategic and statutory planning matters.
- Leading project management for new and renewed Plans of Management for parks.
- Managing engagement with consultants for planning and urban design projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and the community.
- Preparing reports, submissions, and correspondence for strategic planning initiatives.

- Thriving in a fast-paced, growing agency environment.
- Balancing complex issues and diverse stakeholder needs.
- Integrating conflicting technical advice for optimal planning outcomes.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Strong background in strategic planning, especially in open space. Town Planning experience is a must.
- Project management skills with experience handling diverse consultant disciplines.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management abilities.
- Proficiency in interpreting legislation and providing evidence-based advice.
- Collaboration skills in a design-led team setting.
- Understanding of government operations.
- Urban design background or experience is a plus.
- Graphic skills using Adobe Creative Suite are highly regarded.
