**About the opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Aboriginal Supplier Engagement Advisor to provide procurement and supplier management services across our diverse business. You will be driving Aboriginal supplier engagement to align with the Wesfarmers Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and the WesCEF Aboriginal Supplier Engagement strategy.

You will champion Aboriginal procurement supplier activities by engaging Aboriginal suppliers and key partners in our business whilst ensuring health, safety, environmental and commercial outcomes are delivered. You will have the opportunity to work with, influence and be supported by senior management to implement WesCEF’s Aboriginal Supplier Engagement strategy.

You will also be responsible for providing effective and efficient support to the wider Supply and Category Management team.
- Key responsibilities will include:_
- End to end procurement of goods and services and provide commercial advice across our business.
- Maintain a strong focus on understanding and meeting customer requirements to develop partnering relations with key partners.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with our values in external standards, licenses, regulations and ethical and operational requirements.
- Promote and educate customers on the Wesfarmers RAP, the WesCEF Aboriginal Supplier Engagement strategy and our corporate governance framework.
- Continue the implementation of the Aboriginal Supplier Engagement strategy.
- Provide Aboriginal procurement leadership and proactively engage with internal partners to strengthen and champion Aboriginal supplier awareness, engagement and development.
- Maintain and enhance Aboriginal supplier intelligence.
- Track and report on key Aboriginal supplier performance indicators for internal and external purposes and
- Identify and lead Aboriginal supplier related supplier management activities including, continuous improvement and innovation initiatives that contribute to business objectives.

**Do you have a mixture of the following skills and experience?**
- Formal qualifications may include a mix of Year 12 or above, tertiary qualifications, vocational qualifications and/or
- Relevant experience working in a similar role, examples include:

- Procuring goods or services, business administration, contracts administrator, business/commercial analyst
- Considerable experience and understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs, attitudes and protocols.
- Strong networks within the Aboriginal community
- Good communication skills and the ability to build and manage relationships.
- Good planning and organisation skills
- Capability and self-sufficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good problem solving and report writing skills.
- Sound understanding and use of procurement and/or supplier management methodologies and skills.
