**About the position**:
We are seeking a Project Officer who will assess, plan and coordinate community-based activities that enhance social inclusion, allowing frail older people to participate in community life and maintain independence. The position is part of Council’s Social Support services team.

To be successful in the role ideally you will:

- Be self-motivated and passionate
- Have experience in the Aged Care or Community Services sector
- Be driven to providing person-centred care
- Can build strong relationships and networks within the community, including customers and volunteers.
- Assist vulnerable members of the public to access support to activities to increase social interactions
- Respond to Customer service enquiries about social support activities arranging social support

**Interested?**

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in community services, health or related fields (Cert III minimum). Please explain how your qualification is relevant to the role.
- Outline your experience in the Care or Community Service sector
- Describe ability to clearly engage and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders (for example customers, volunteers or brokerage-based services)
- Describe how do you maintain excellent time management to deliver outcomes that meet customer and community needs
- Current Drivers licence
