**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Forensic Court Liaison Officer (FCADS clinician) within the Forensic Court Services. The position is based at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court with a fortnightly requirement to attend for team meetings at Modbury. The role works with Magistrates, lawyers and prosecutors to ensure accurate information is provided and clinical assessments are conducted of overnight custodies that present to the court on a daily basis. The role also liaises with a range of services included mental health services and non government organisations in relation to any mentally ill offenders presenting before the court. The role will complete formal court ordered reports in relation to mentally ill offenders where required.

As a **RN/M2C**, To be eligible for this position, you must have be Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.

As a **AHP2**, To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or Equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
