**The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to work in the position of Store Person within the Supply & Distribution Department, which is part of Finance and Corporate Services Department.**

**This is a casual position and is primarily located at Gosford and Wyong hospitals and does not require weekend or shift work.**

**You will be required to work from either of these locations at any time. This is mainly an on call position that can range in days required.**

**This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.**

**What you will be doing**
- You will be responsible for the warehousing and distribution of both clinical and non-clinical products throughout the Area.
- You will be required to assist in the sorting, delivering and stocking and have an understanding of total imprest management in agreed wards.
- You will need to be aware of the Deliverease system and its principles in the way of understanding the importance of Min and Max, categories, infection control and rotation procedures of stock.
- You will need to be able to recognise and match like products with substitutes.
- You will also assist with implementation of strategies to improve the ability for facility managers and clinicians to manage the ordering of supplies and to ensure ongoing patient care in a cost-effective and timely manner.

**General Duties/Responsibilities**
- Participate in Quality improvement activities and provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders including patients, staff and others.
- Comply with all NSW Health and CCLHD policies and procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all patient, staff and workplace matters.
- Use CCLHD resources efficiently, minimising cost and wastage.
- Report any risk identified (eg: OHS, Clinical, Financial, Technology, Public Image) to the manager and request a risk assessment. Participate in risk management activities.
