We are currently looking for experienced horticulturalist/landscapers to join our team. We are a small landscaping company who have been servicing Canberra and surrounding regions for over 30 years. We specialise in large commercial and residential landscaping, along with working with the ACT government. We are known in the business for our attention to detail and quality work.

**What we can offer you**:

- Above award wages dependant on experience, ranging from $34-$45 per hour
- Work / Life balance with hours from 06:50 to 1530 Monday to Friday

- Full training and induction for tools and equipment including excavator and skid steer
- Further training in relevant qualifications and skills (ie, Chainsaw ticket, ChemCert course, First Aid, Truck licence etc)

**As a Senior landscaper your role includes but not limited to**:
General landscaping duties such as:

- Panting
- Turfing
- Irrigation and drainage
- Maintenance

Hardscaping duties such as:

- Paving
- Retaining walls
- Rock Work
- Concreting
- School and childcare playground structures

Work independently on job site with limited supervision

Work and direct labourers on site

**Skills and experiences we are seeking**:

- 2-5 years experience in the horticultural/landscaping field
- Certificate 3 in horticulture landscape construction (desirable)
- A construction white card
- Certificate in Asbestos Awareness
- Current driver’s license, manual licence desirable
- Certificate in Silica Awareness (desirable)
- Medium Ridged Truck licence (desirable)
- Experience on excavation equipment (desirable)
- Physically fit, as the role is physically demanding at times
- Be motivated, willing to learn new skills and take directions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $67,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
