**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience and success in similar campaigns, appeals or fundraising role
- Demonstrated experience conceptualising and creating a range of fundraising materials including appeals, newsletters and online content
- Command of Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of fundraising landscape for Australian social change, social justice or social services
- Experience working in a fundraising database - eTapestry or similar
- Experience creating and driving project plans involving internal and external stakeholders
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for fundraising
- Capacity to fulfil reporting and administrative requirements associated with the position
- Understanding and sympathy with the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services
- Current driver’s licence
- Valid Working with Children Check card
- Successful Police Check to be conducted by Jesuit Social Services prior to commencement.

**About the program**:
The Fundraising team is responsible for engaging with new and existing stakeholders to generate independent income to support the strategic direction of the organisation. Fundraising programs include appeals, single giving, regular giving and philanthropy.

The Strategic Communications team works closely with Policy and Advocacy to join participant voice, practice wisdom and policy advocacy to raise public awareness of the challenges faced by our participants and the changes needed at a government level to improve outcomes for the whole community.
