**Position Summary**:
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable officer skilled in handling high-volume invoice processing within a dynamic mid-large size accounting team? **Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices received for payment in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Address all vendor enquiries promptly.
- Obtain departmental approval for all invoices.
- Perform filing, copying, and scanning of documents as required.
- Investigate and resolve disputed/unpaid charges promptly.
- Efficiently manage all activities associated with the payment cycle.
- Ensure timely payments to avoid overdue accounts attracting late payment fees or penalties.
- Reconcile supplier statements with ledger balances.
- Maintain the integrity of data to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
- Verify that payable transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial files.
- Develop procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Higher school certificate.
- Accounting Diploma (Preferable).
- Previous experience in the Transport and Logistics industry (Preferable).
- Able to commute to the office in Lidcombe.

**Salary**: $61,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
