We are seeking an experienced, nurturing and intuitive nanny to assist a busy family in Camperdown. The nanny will be responsible for caring for a happy 1 yr old baby boy.

**The days and normal hours are 3 days - 24 hours per week**

Tuesday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Wednesday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Thursday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Potential for the role to increase to 4 days a week later in the year. (Likely to be a Friday if this is the case)

An ideal nanny will be nurturing, loving and caring with a happy and relaxed/easy going personality.

A nanny that has a genuine love of children, able to follow the child’s routine and can interact, be creative and dedicate their time to the child and enhance/encourage his learning, development and independence on a daily basis allowing him to explore the world. An energetic nanny that is happy to take the child out and about and play at parks, go on walks or to play groups to keep him busy and occupied.

Creativity would be an added bonus as the family is very creative.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is intuitive, independant, responsible, impatient, has a positive mindset, non judgemental and can commit to the role on a long term basis and become a part of the family.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the child
- Provide routine and structure
- Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)
- Take the baby out for walks/park/playground etc, playgroup, library etc.
- Prepare/Cook basic meals and snacks for the child
- Child Laundry, cleaning up after the child and clean bottles when needed

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
