- Maintain a high standard of room servicing and cleaning in allocated areas, removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen. Assist with food preparation, production, plating service, warewashing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to officers, visitors and staff of the Tasmania Police Academy.**Period of Appointment**:
20 August 2024 to 19 August 2026

**Hours per fortnight**:
73.50

**Duties**:
Maintain a high standard of room servicing and cleaning in allocated areas, removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen. Assist with food preparation, production, plating service, warewashing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to officers, visitors and staff of the Tasmania Police Academy.

**Essential Requirements**:
**Pre-Employment Checks**
- Arson and fire setting;
- Sexual offences;
- Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
- Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
- Making false declarations;
- Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
- Malicious damage and destruction to property
- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.

**Desirable Requirements**:
Appropriate qualification, training and/or experience in the hospitality services.
