Our client provides high quality pool products and services to Newcastle and surrounding suburbs.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The main purpose of this role is to provide professional pool servicing to an installed base of monthly customers and complete pool equipment installations as required.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Completing service reports and customer invoicing.
- Ensuring customers’ equipment is working correctly.
- Ability to diagnose problems and propose solutions with respect to equipment problems and failure.
- Identifying any equipment problems, pool chemistry issues or pool leaks to the manager.
- Installation of pool equipment as required including pumps, chlorinators, heat pumps, filters and cleaners.
- 38 hours week with substantial overtime during peak seasonal periods. Must be willing to work within a roster (6-day week in off season, 7 days a week in swim season).

**ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
- Completed Certificate III in Pool and Spa Maintenance OR training will be provided for the right person who has some industry experience and the capacity to complete a Certificate III in Pool and Spa Maintenance (or working towards completion).
- Driver’s license.
- Knowledge of pool water chemistry, water balance and pool servicing.
- The ability to work unsupervised and to strict quality standards and deadlines.
- Must be presentable and trustworthy with a good work ethic.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous way.
