What you’ll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dealer Auditor to join our Audit Division in a permanent full-time capacity.

The Audit Business Unit is responsible for ensuring a culture of compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements by managing a process of review and advice in accordance with approved audit plans. This supports a sustainable business that achieves its objectives.

The Dealer Auditor is primarily responsible for overseeing all Dealer audit projects, providing expert advice in accordance with the Toyota Sales Policies and Fleet Plan to ensure Dealer compliance across the Toyota Dealer Network and to assist management in identifying and evaluating exposures to operational and financial risk and contributing to the improvement of risk management and control systems within TMCA.

This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer. Travel is required for the role both locally and interstate.

How you’ll make an impact- Coordinate end to end Dealer Audit projects, identify and evaluate significant exposure to risks, and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of TMCA dealer controls ensuring that the Dealer Audit process is done effectively, efficiently and in accordance with Toyota Sales Policies and Fleet Plan guidelines.- Update and develop reports for key internal and external stakeholders and decisionmakers to provide the Dealers and business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting, and decision-making activities so that all legal and compliance obligations are met.- Monitor and analyse performance against the strategic plan for own area and recommend countermeasures where required to ensure that agreed objectives can be achieved.- Coordinate and facilitate forums with relevant stakeholders in relation to audit issues and recommendations to improve processes, systems, policies and procedures where financial and compliance risk/gaps are identified. Ensure that decisions are clearly communicated to all relevant stakeholders.- Monitor and review the work of other Dealer Auditors and external consultants to ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.

Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Degree qualification in Business, Accounting or equivalent.- CPA/CA qualification desired but essential.- Track record of successfully coordinating a wide variety of Audit projects.- 2 years or more experience in audit and compliance.- Ability to travel locally and interstate is essential.- Strong understanding of the business and its commercial drivers.
