**About the role** - **As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

- Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices
- Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy

**About you** - **To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Science and Religious Education Teaching as well as:

- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Curriculum for Science
- Clear understanding of Religion curriculum
- Ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers
- Attend in detail to innovative and creative practices
- Commitment to child safety
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify and cater for different learning styles
- Ability to integrate digital technology into a contemporary learning environment
- Ability to contribute to the school community through involvement in Co-curricular activities
- Proven organisational skills
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
