About the Opportunity
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking multiple Telco Laborer's to join our growing company.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Brisbane
Reporting Line: Field Team Leader
Key Responsibilities
To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience working in the Telecommunications industry as a Cable Hauler or similar, but we are willing to train the right people.
You will ideally have knowledge and understanding of cable hauling and Telco pit and pipe networks and have the following competencies, skills, and experience:
Hold a valid driver’s licence (manual preferred)
White card
Right to work in Australia
Be physically fit
Competent in utilising a tablet device
Good communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Ensure all field work is of a high quality consistent with relevant HSE policies and procedures
This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.
About You
Act in accordance with relevant Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and the company’s matrix of Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities
Act in accordance with relevant Environmental Legislation and the company’s matrix of Environmental responsibilities
Perform all specified duties under the company’s ISO Accredited Management System
COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend and participate in team/divisional activities, meetings, and day to day work activities demonstrating respect and consideration for individuals and their experiences and expertise
Communicate constructively to other team members and/or company employees
be aware of and communicate to other employees and to the business, opportunities for improvement in processes, practices or procedures
Actively work with and support other team members and/or company employees to achieve business goals
Desired
Previous experience in Pipe Proving/Scoping for cable install including pit and duct replacements
NBN enAble Induction
Basic Civil works experience
Asbestos Awareness Training
Hauling experience
