**About the Program**

Health Administration Reception and Transport Services (HART) is part of the Primary Care Services providing administration and transport support to our clients and visitors to Nunkuwarrin Yunti of SA Inc.

**About the Role**

The primary role of the Transport Officer includes and is not limited to:

- Provide services for the pick-up and drop-off of clients to and from appointments arranged through Nunkuwarrin Yunti
- Actively participate as a team member with other health professionals within Nunkuwarrin Yunti
- Communicate effectively and positively with clients and community of Nunkuwarrin Yunti
- Foster a professional environment through the delivery of culturally safe services
- Assist with the maintenance of vehicle fleet and report any maintenance issues to Senior Transport Officer and or Team Manager, HART
- Respect and always maintain client and visitor’s confidentiality to the service
- Record Kilometres when doing pick up and drop off to client’s home and between Nunkuwarrin Yunti sites
- Assist with the maintenance of statistical data documentation
- Undertake associated administrative support work when required

**Remuneration**

This position is under the Nunkuwarrin Yunti Enterprise Agreement classification of **Corporate Services** Level **2 **(Salary sacrifice and paid Christmas and New Year break)

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
All positions within Nunkuwarrin Yunti of SA Inc will be required to undergo a six (6) months probationary period.

**ESSENTIAL - **includes qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge
- Hold a full current and valid SA Driver License
- Hold or be working towards First Aid Certificate
- Extensive knowledge of metropolitan Adelaide road and Public transport routes

**DESIRABLE**
- Hold or willing to undertake training in Certificate 3 in Non-Emergency Patient Transport
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities
- Experience in using Communicare or similar Patient Information Recall System
- Experience in using MS Office Suite packages
