**The Role**

As a member of a small payroll team based in our Murarrie Head Office, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager to coordinate and manage the payroll function for approx 1000 non-salary (Award Wage) employees nationally.

Main duties include:

- End to end processing of company wages payrolls (weekly and fortnightly)
- Maintenance of payroll system - Templa
- Maintenance of time and attendance system - Deputy/Timegate
- Onboarding new hires, updating and maintaining payroll records
- Liaising with internal staff and management on payroll related queries
- Managing payroll adjustments (manual process)
- Calculating portable LSL provisions/accruals
- Payroll reporting to meet internal, external, and statutory obligations.

You are an experienced, highly capable Payroll Officer with proven experience managing payroll for 800+ employees, with:

- Superb attention to detail
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to interpret relevant awards and statutory requirements
- Confidence in handling and resolving pay discrepancies
- Previous experience with multiple systems - Templa, Deputy and/or Timegate experience highly regarded
- Strong computer skills inc Excel and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication & relationship management abilities
