The Information Technology team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting data to support decision-making processes, optimize operational efficiency, and create valuable data products within the university.

**About You**
**To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities**:

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in an educational or research environment
- Experience with and knowledge of modern lakehouse architectures
- Experience in distributed cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and data modelling.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation
- Experience with any ETL tool such as Matillion, Fivetran, DBT, etc.
- Experience with Data Visualization tool such as PowerBI and Tableau.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training
- Relevant data platform certifications (e.g. Snowflake Certification)
