Snack Proud is a snack company that supplies healthy drinks, snacks, and pantry supplies to Melbourne corporate offices. We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Pantry Merchandiser.
This role involves daily replenishment of snacks and drinks in our customers’ kitchens; ensuring efficient stock management; maintaining positive relationships with clients, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organisation of the pantry and stockroom areas.
Snack Proud is based in Sydney, so this role will involve being a ‘face of Snack Proud’ for our Melbourne customers. You will be working closely with our Pantry Manager.
This location of the role will be predominantly in our customers' Collins St office, however you may be required to work at other locations from time to time. A typical day will be 4-6 hours of very physical work, 5 days a week.
**Responsibilities**:
**Stock and Order Management**:
- Receive and put away stock on shelves, ensuring proper rotation and organisation.
- Refill drinks fridges and snack displays regularly to maintain an appealing and well-stocked pantry.
- Receive deliveries and distribute into multiple stockrooms
- Load up trolleys for efficient replenishment for the next day
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders within key accounts, as well as mixing with employees onsite
- Proactively address client inquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Understand and meet clients' specific requirements and preferences to ensure high satisfaction levels.
**Breakroom Maintenance**:
- Where applicable, ensure store rooms and pantry areas are clean, organised, and visually appealing.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate departments.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Where appropriate, act as a liaison between clients and the Snack Proud account management team, sharing feedback, requests, and suggestions.
- Work collaboratively with fellow pantry managers to ensure efficient replenishment, sharing the load and tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Regular check-ins with the account manager for the customer, and proactively communicating any ideas or recommendations for improvements onsite
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Prior experience in stock management or hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate stock counts and proper rotation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting and carrying boxes, standing for extended periods, and moving stock as required.
Joining Snack Proud as a Part-Time Pantry Merchandiser offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing healthy snack company. This role suits someone with a degree of flexibility as the hours are not fixed. Hours may vary from week to week, although will typically be the same from week to week.
