**Description**:
Reporting to the Assistant Director - Clinical Operations, the Mental Health Professional will be responsible for the provision of high quality clinical services including assessment and referral, evidence based individual, couple and family counselling, and case management to veterans of the Australian Defence Forces and their families. Experience working with families and couples in a clinical setting would be highly regarded for this role.

**Duties**:

- Provide high quality clinical services including assessment and referral, evidence based individual, couple and family counselling, and case management
- Facilitate the delivery of counselling and other programs to veterans, ADF personnel and their families
- Accessing relevant services, resources and supports
- Liaise and form partnerships with other Government Departments, ex-service organisations, community health and welfare agencies
- Participate in community development and service promotion activities as required
- Participate in program evaluation and research activities
- Maintain clinical records

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Qualifications as a registered Psychologist with full AHPRA registration

OR
- Qualification as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW)

AND
- Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance
