**About WCK**

WCK is not your average long day care service. We pride ourselves with being different, offering children, families, and educators a pedagogy and practice that values slowing down, moving at children pace and rhythm. Our setting includes a natural outdoor Centre environment, with an amazing visual arts studios including a clay wheel, authentic art materials, a tool shed, lilium construction and large and loose parts studios.

Our position in the main street of Woombye enables regular excursions to local parks, community garden, bush site, and local primary school.

We offer both centre placements and bush and farm kinda regular full day placement. The Bush kKndy is in Woombye on a 6 acres location and the farm is located at Kureelpa set on 35 acres. These programs provide children with the regular opportunity to have authentic experiences in nature, learning, thinking, and playing outside caring and learning about farm animals and gardens.

Centre hours are set at 7.30am to 4.30pm and your roster will vary depending on your interest on days and hours. We offer small group sizes, well above staff to child ratios.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.
- Current Qld Blue Card, 1st Aid and Child Protection certificates.
- Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.
- A love of the outdoors, gardening, and nature
- An understanding of nature-based play or possible experience in the area
- Well, presented, reliable, energetic, passionate, caring leader who loves working with children and joyfully works as part of a small team.
- Sense of humour, strong work ethic, sense of adventure and a positive approach to self-reflection and personal growth. excited by learning new skills, investing in your practice, and learning and growing beside children and our early learning community.

- Lead a team in creating and delivering an educational program fostering children’s learning and development.
- Prioritize children’s health and safety.
- Engage in learning and thinking inquiries, inspiring a lifelong love for learning.
- Build strong relationships with the WCK Community.

Pay: $21.84 - $56.92 per hour
