About the role
The Adult Access Service is an established regional integrated service incorporating Crisis Assessment and treatment, Emergency Department response (Box Hill, Maroondah and Angliss Hospital), Telephone triage, Mental Health and Police Response and Ambulance Victoria Teleprompt.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Mental Health Adult Access Service for passionate and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner with sound clinical mental health experience.
The Adult Access Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing advance clinical skills and leadership across all areas of the Access Service. This practitioner will provide direct and indirect care, and in collaborate and consultation with health care recipients, their families and community as well as other health professionals, plan, implement and evaluate integrated care that optimises outcomes for recipients and the systems of care.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with no conditions of registration relating to unsatisfactory professional performance or unprofessional conduct
Completed degree of Masters of Nurse Practitioner or equivalent Clinical Master’s degree, as deemed appropriate by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA, including the Therapeutic Medication management module.
Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner on the National Register via the NMBA
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
