The Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) was awarded to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Newcastle (UoN) to boost research and development and drive commercialisation outcomes with industry over the four years to 2025-26. The two universities will join forces to lead a range of research commercialisation initiatives that will help Australia and the world transition to sustainable recycling and clean energy solutions and systems.

**Why Your Role Matters**:
As part of the TRaCE Program, a ‘Foundry’ suite of programs will be established, specifically focused on fast-tracking the business growth of climate tech start-ups, whose innovation has a significant impact on emissions reduction. This will include early-stage entrepreneurial skill building programs, prototyping support and a Foundry 10x Accelerator Program.

The position of Program Manager, Foundry 10x Accelerator will help design and deliver the Foundry climate-themed entrepreneurial, skill building programs. They will work with both Universities to deliver the program annually, including design, coordination and recruiting start-ups and SMEs to participate in the programs and lead delivery of the Foundry 10x Accelerator. The Program Manager will also be responsible for providing ongoing support to participants during and post-program, via coaching and connections across the ecosystem.

**Who You Are**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating group workshops/training and high-level of comfort with public speaking and event hosting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective and constructive working relationships with colleagues; and to clearly convey ideas and information while demonstrating excellence.
- Outstanding organisational skills with a proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, manage projects effectively, and establish priorities while meeting strict and/or tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple programs and projects, and achieving (exceeding) required deliverables.
- Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and problem solving, with a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to resolve issues as they arise.
- Knowledge of design thinking, new product development and innovation processes, and entrepreneurship methodologies or related disciplines.
- Knowledge about project monitoring and evaluation frameworks such as Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Investment Readiness Level (IRL).
- Demonstrated experience in using processes and frameworks to de-risk projects.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering events, both in-person and online.
- High level interpersonal, strong consultation, influencing and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience and networks in the climate technology sector desirable (not essential)
