We have an exciting new opening for an experienced HR Advisor at Munro Footwear Group to join our Head Office team. This permanent full-time role is reporting to the HR Manager and will work as a conduit between our team members HR needs and our policies. The HR Advisor will be an integral part of the People and Culture team at MFG and assist in providing consistent, practical, and strategic advice and coaching to stakeholders on people-related matters and industrial relations matters.
What your day will look like;
- As HR Advisor you will work closely with our leaders, and the HR Team to create best practice as well as supportive and safe workplace practices.
- Managing the full breadth of employee relations matters, following internal process, relevant Fair Work principles, and operating with due consideration to associated risks.
- Provide consistent, practical, and strategic advice and coaching to stakeholders on people-related matters and industrial instruments.
- Building an open, communicative, and supportive culture across the business while working closely with team members to identify areas of improvement.
- Contribute to our culture by supporting with Engagement, Wellbeing and DEIB initiatives.

What you will bring to this role;
- Have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Have 2 to 3 years' experience in HR, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Demonstrate a confident and competent approach in managing complex employee relations matters including ER/IR issues.
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of the GRIA, SSWA and Clerks 2020 Awards and the Fair Work Act 2009 along with a proven ability to interpret relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and a professional approach when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
