Our memberships base spans over 4,000 customers, with a further 7,000 people actively involved across UQ’s 35+ sporting clubs.

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**:
We’re looking for multiple enthusiastic and reliable Badminton Officials to join our team at UQ Sport. This role is integral to ensuring the safe conduct of badminton fixtures in accordance with the sport’s rules and regulations. As a Badminton Official, you’ll contribute to the successful delivery of sporting events, maintaining the high standards of officiating that UQ Sport is known for.
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:
- Assist in the delivery of scheduled badminton fixtures in partnership with the Sport Convenor.
- Ensure the officiating of competitions meets industry best practice standards.
- Maintain a positive profile for UQ Sport within the wider University community.
**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of badminton rules.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a sporting environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
- A proven commitment to customer service excellence.
- The ability to take personal initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
