The Rumpus Room Marks Point is looking for an educator to join our team in a 32 place boutique children’s centre

A bit about the role

We are looking for a qualified educator to join our team in a full time or part time capacity. We are looking to offer flexible arrangements for our staff All of our educators are entitled to 2 hours non-contact time each week, and enjoy shorter centre opening hours between 7.30am-5.30pm - home for breakfast and dinner with your family

As part of this role within The Rumpus Room Marks Point, as an educator you will also be entitled to:

A bit about us

The Rumpus Room is well known in the Newcastle area as a leading provider of early childhood education and care. We aim to realise children to their full potential, where they thirst to participate fully in life, by creating an atmosphere of love, acceptance and fun.

At The Rumpus Room Marks Point, we consider ourselves a boutique children’s centre, catering for 32 children a day from 6 weeks - 6 years old each day. We spend our days learning and growing together in a beautiful farmhouse-style building with towering pitched ceilings, a sun-filled balcony and a lovely shady outdoor environment.

All of our educators work closely and collaboratively together throughout the day, as well as developing programs and routines within their separate Infants and Preschool teaching teams. We feel privileged to have the opportunity to teach in beautiful Marks Point and highly value our connections with our local community.

A bit about you

We are looking to employ a qualified educator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative and close-knit team. The successful applicant will have:

- An approved qualification in early childhood education and care, either a Certificate III or a Diploma.
- A current NSW Working with Children’s Check
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
- A confident working knowledge of EYLF, NQF and other relevant frameworks

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
