UGL Regional Linx has been awarded the contract to operate and maintain the NSW Country Regional Network (CRN).
- UGL Regional Linx are currently looking for a Structures Examiner to join our Structures Team. The Role will be based out of West Wyalong / Queanbeyan, NSW.

**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Structures Examiner to join our dynamic and successful team

Structures Examiner undertake the construction and maintenance of structures, which includes assets in the vicinity of structures where such works would affect the stability of the adjacent structure. Structures maintainers program and conduct the detailed examination of a varied asset class in alignment with the Technical Maintenance Plan and respond to the results of these examinations with corrective maintenance as prescribed in the Standards suit or as designated by the Structures Engineer or Superintendent.

The Structures asset class includes underbridges, overbridges, footbridges, culverts, signal gantries, tunnels, retaining walls, platforms, lighting towers, aerial service crossings, noise abatement walls, loading banks and stages, turntables, fixed cranes, weighbridges, overhead water tanks, sedimentation basins, dams and other miscellaneous structures.

This role will be working on a 8-day on, 6 day off fortnightly roster, with working away from home requirements from time to time.

**About You**
- Qualifications in examining: Timber / Steel / Concrete / Masonry (desirable)
- Hold a current RIW card (preferable)
- National competencies and previous experience in Structures Maintenance (preferable)
- Protection Officer qualifications (preferable)
- Track Vehicle (operate Hi-Rail Vehicle) experience.
- White card
- Class C Driver’s licence essential
- Team oriented, accountable and results driven.

- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced operational environment with multiple and competing demands.
- Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and utilise new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology.
