Dispute Resolution Manager

We are seeking a Dispute Resolution Manager with experience dealing with AFCA to join a vibrant and growing non-bank lender who specialise in helping SME's achieve their dreams through fast and accurate access to finance.
The role will be to manage a newly established team with one junior staff member.
**Day to Day responsibilities**:
- Case management of AFCA complaints & negotiations
- Manage escalated mediation and problem solving for Consumers
- Management of IDR/EDR complaints
- Work with our 3rd party legal team to negotiate commercially minded settlements
- Manage high priority legal requirements for the Collections Team
- Ownership of Hardship agreements with customer
- Manage small Service team
**To be considered for the role you will have**:
- Strong experience working with or in SME lending businesses
- 1-2 years' experience in complaints and settlement negotiations
- Good understanding of legal requirements through the arrears process
- Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate fairly and professionally
- Ability to work with technology - internal systems as well as navigating third party portal
- Demonstrated initiative, drive, enthusiasm, and a team player
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work well with other people and build good relationships
