About this opportunity

The NACC has an Assistant Director, Corruption Prevention & Education Outreach role available for immediate filling in Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney. This is a temporary vacancy available for 6 months.

We currently have offices in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney, and are in the process of securing offices in Brisbane and Perth.

About the role

The position of Assistant Director, Corruption Prevention - Education & Outreach leads a small and dispersed team to lead the Commission’s education and outreach function.

**Key activities**
- Lead the Corruption Education and Outreach team including maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture, plan and manage workloads.
- Consult and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve efficient, targeted and consistent prevention and education outcomes
- Lead the development of prevention and education engagement material, in a variety of formats (including webinars, presentations, animations, videos, e-learning and static formats such as posters and screen-savers).
- Lead the development of, and deliver public presentations and training, and support the Commission’s Executive by contributing to agency-wide priorities and objectives.

The Commission is a small agency. In addition to these activities, from time to time you may be asked to undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of duties but that are within the range of your capabilities. Supporting one another in this way provides opportunities for exposure across the agency and is an integral part of the Commission’s positive workplace culture.

Eligibility
- **For Commonwealth employees only **- applicants must be eligible for Temporary Transfer under S26 of the Public Service Act 1999.
- **Security clearance **- this is a Designated Security Assessment Position. The occupant of this position will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance to Negative Vetting 1.
- **Suitability assessment**:

- the NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of suitable character. They must undergo a rigorous pre-employment suitability screening process that can be intrusive in nature including (but is not limited to) detailed background, character, employment, police and financial checks.
