**About the role**

Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Ammonia and Industrial Chemicals, the Commercial Advisor role is responsible for the provision of high-quality analysis, strategic thinking and contract management within the Ammonia and Industrial Chemicals team.

This role has you working with our operations teams, internal businesses and external suppliers and customers. You will be able to lead and support discussions with suppliers and customers and play an integral role in maintaining our reputation as a leading major chemicals manufacturer.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Lead and support the negotiation and execution of new commercial agreements;
- Manage customer relationships including the negotiation and execution of renewals and amendments to existing commercial agreements;
- Lead contract management activities, including adhering to contract obligations and operational requirements;
- Provide commercial support to our technical and operations teams including the management of our import scheduling process;
- Preparation of month end accounts, pricing letters, reconciliations and other reports;
- Assisting with the development and preparation of budgets, corporate plans and business reports;
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of key industry and market trends;
- Support business activities required to meet WesCEF’s Net Zero 2050 Roadmap; and
- Preparation of strategy and award recommendation papers for key business decisions.

**We are looking for a mixture of the following skills and experience**:

- Strong analytical skills and computer/IT skills with aspirations towards a business management role.
- Highly proactive with a drive to continuously improve and make valuable contributions.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build positive relationships.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Commerce or a Business related discipline.
- Previous experience in a similar Finance, Commercial or Business Analyst role is desirable.
