Dressmaker / Patternmaker

Steven Khalil is offering a rare and exciting opportunity as a full time Dressmaker/Patternmaker to be part of our expanding team in the Paddington HQ Studio.
The role is primarily creating wedding gowns, for both couture clients and house collection gowns.

You will be liaising directly with the Production & Operations Manager and Creative Director, Steven Khalil.

Dressmaking and draping, ensuring each piece embodies the aesthetic of Steven Khalil designs.

Expertise in pattern-making, cutting, sample sewing, and fitting.
Garment alterations/repairs and finishing, ensuring flawless final products.
Garment gradings and measurements, maintaining our commitment to precision, fit and quality.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting and exceeding deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues alike.

Minimum of 5+ year’s experience in a similar position with a record of creating high end couture or bespoke garments.

**Salary**: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
