**We’re seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our Austral Bricks® plant in Golden Grove, SA.**

**Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and operating a mechanical equipment involved in the manufacture of building products.**

***

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Set up, operate and clean mechanical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Set controls, fix attachments and materials to prepare for operation.
- Perform basic problem solving and diagnosis of machine issues and escalate non-routine issues to maintenance team for resolution.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHS policies and procedures.
- Assist and contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives.

**Success Requirements**

***
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery.
- Forklift Licence an advantage.
- Strong skill in problem solving and fault-finding activities to identify and resolve machine issues/breakdowns.
- Strong ability to operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong safety culture.
