We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Senior Wellsite Geologist.

As a Senior Wellsite Geologist, you will play a crucial role in instructing and supervising all geological operations at the wellsite. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of drilling operations and the accurate interpretation of geological data. **About this role**
- Instruct and supervise all geological operations at the wellsite, including mudlogging, DD/LWD/MWD,
- Electric Wireline Logging, BH Fluid sampling, and coring operations.
- Examine and describe cuttings while drilling and report findings according to the provided format.
- Monitor and provide quality assurance and control for all third-party contractors involved in wireline, DD/LWD/MWD, and Surface Data Logging activities.
- Collaborate with the Senior Operations Geologist and Senior Drilling Supervisor to recommend modifications or additions to logging programs and operations.
- Monitor drilling parameters and geological information, reporting to the drilling supervisor as required.
- Correlate geological data with offset wells, identifying target formations, horizons, and total depths using drill cuttings, LWD petrophysical logs, and mudlogging data.
- Ensure calibration and proper functioning of gas detection and mudlogging equipment, recording all hydrocarbon shows.
- Assist in the calibration of logging tools before deployment in the wellbore.Ensure accurate transmittal, copying, packaging, and distribution of all geological data, including wireline logs, LWD logs, mud logs, cuttings, core samples, and fluid samples.
- Conduct safety assessments, hazard identification, and pore pressure and fracture gradient analysis during drilling operations.
- Evaluate indications of over-pressured zones and provide operational recommendations.
- Complete daily geological reporting and operations reports, summarizing drilling activities, cutting descriptions, gas or oil shows, mud data, and provisional formation tops.

**About you**
- Extensive experience in Wellsite/Operations Geology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on reporting objectives and key findings.
- Proficiency in wellbore surveying methods, accuracy competence, survey requirements, and collision avoidance.
- Strong team and people management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor others.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships in high-energy environments with colleagues and service company personnel.
- Working knowledge of petrophysics, real-time log analysis, interpretation, and well correlation.
