Our client is a well-known and highly respected engineering company with extensive experience within the mining industry. They pride themselves on quality services with a strong emphasis on safety including light and heavy fabrication, bucket and body refurbishment, design and drafting and project management.

Due to growth, we have multiple positions for experienced Boilermakers to join their team. You’ll have the opportunity to work in the workshop or on site at various mine sites across the Hunter Valley.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Certificate of Proficiency Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- The ability to pass weld testing - 1554.4
- Glencore induction (desirable)
- Work at Heights (desirable)
- MDG25
- MR Truck license (desirable)
- Experience working on heavy mining equipment such as dozers, draglines, excavators and trucks (desirable)
- Experience in a fixed plant or CHPP environment with stackers, reclaimers, ROM bins, pumps, screens, crushers, chutes and pipework (desirable)
- Experience in a workshop environment completing light and heavy fabrication (desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Great time management & communication skills
- Respect & commitment for the team
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- A valid driver’s license

**Benefits**:

- Full-time permanent role
- Opportunity for overtime
- 5 weeks annual leave
- All uniforms, training & PPE supplied
- $40 per hour for first 7 hours. All hours after and weekends paid at $77per hour + super
- Site allowance $2.50 for standard hours / overtime hours at $4.50 per hour
- Shifts hours:

- Workshop: Day shift from 6am to 3pm/4pm. Afternoon shift from 3pm to 1pm/3am.
- On site: A mixture of days night and weekends that predominately are 12 hours shifts
