**The Opportunity**

**The Lancaster Restaurant is an à la carte fine dining restaurant located on the fifth floor of The Newstead Residences, a luxury retirement living community in the heart of Newstead, Brisbane.** As a **Food & Beverage Manager**, you will curate unforgettable and personalised experiences for all patrons dining in our restaurant. As a highly skilled Hospitality Manager, you will be committed to delivering gold-standard guest experience, working alongside fellow kitchen staff, overseeing dining operations and most importantly, have a genuine love for great food and wine This is a hands-on role, with the support of the Community Manager and Chef Manager.

**This is a permanent full-time position working - Tuesday 10am-4pm, Wednesday & Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-8pm. No late nights or early mornings**

**You will**:

- Be responsible for all dining operations - overseeing hospitality services and providing guidance to your team
- Work closely with your food & beverage team to deliver great service, ensure the restaurant is running smoothly and coordinating ideas for events and functions
- Maintain and develop service offerings that deliver revenue and gross profit targets.
- Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of dining and bar areas
- Following up on day-to-day operational issues including adhering to schedules, cleaning lists and restaurant issues
- Monitor daily Food Safety checklists and ensure strict adherence to all OH&S policies

**What you'll bring**:

- Experience in managing a front-of-house setting such as cafes, restaurants, hotels, bars or fine dining (required)
- A warm, friendly and professional hospitality manager who is passionate about customer service
- Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
