The Creative Arts Tutor is responsible for teaching students in Visual Arts and/or Design and/or Textiles. The role will help inspire our young women through dynamic teaching practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

**The Position**:
This role will devise a creative and innovative 8-week program to teach weekly lessons to students through dynamic teaching practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance. The Creative Arts tutor will work closely with the Director of Creative Arts.

Key priorities for the role include:

- Supervise and teach weekly lessons to students from Junior to Senior School age.
- Consult with the Director of Creative Arts to develop a creative and innovative 8-week program.
- Maintain a record of student attendance.
- Teach and manage behaviour in the classroom.
- Supervise the set up and pack up of the equipment ensuring equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Supervise any Junior School students (K-6) are picked up at the start of the session and by an authorised adult/guardian at the end of the session.

The Creative Arts Tutor will be responsible for supervising and teaching a class of students from Junior to Senior School age.

This is a Casual Extra Curriculum position starting in Term 1 2024.

The activity in Term 1 will run on Wednesday afternoons from approximately 2:30pm - 5.30pm for 8 sessions.

This role requires the successful applicant to hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check and to be fully COVID vaccinated.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will be qualified or have experience in teaching school students in Visual Arts and/or Design with a strong curriculum knowledge. You will be creative and passionate the wellbeing needs of young people and have excellent organisational and communication skills as you engage with students, teachers and parents.
