Architectural Draftsperson

We are currently seeking an experienced architectural draftsperson to join our team. We are an established business located in Dandenong South that specialise in architectural, residential and commercial joinery.

This position is available for immediate start at Haus Residential and the position is full time.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with the right skills and knowledge to become a member of our team. We specialise in residential work across Australia. We design, manufacture and install quality kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundries and specialty joinery.

**Role/Responsibilities Required**:

- Drafting experience is a must
- Must have experience with CAD related software such as AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision
- Able to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and specifications for each project and determine client’s needs and preferences
- Inspecting work and materials compliance and within regulations/standards
- Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications
- Creating and publishing shop drawings
- Preparing sample submissions for approval
- Setting up project files for cutting
- Nesting
- Production scheduling and coordinating work programs
- Good communication skills
- Work well in a team environment

Applicants must be reliable, punctual and must have a dedicated attitude to the job. Great work ethic, attention to detail and ability to problem solve is also required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
