**Job Title**: Warehouse assistant

**Reports to**: Distribution Team Leader

**Group / Division**: PSG / Drug Substance division

**Position Location**: Brisbane, Australia

**Position Summary**:
This job handles Inbound and outbound activities in the warehouse, material movement to departments, stock takes, reconciliation and sampling activities as well as providing back-up support to both the Warehouse Coordinator and Procurement Team Lead when they are away or on annual leave.

**Key Responsibilities**

**_ Tasks-_**

**Operational material management**

**Process incoming and outbound goods.**

**Load and unload deliveries, check off delivery dockets and complete records.**

**Un-stack vendor pallets and stack material onto internal pallet.**

**Packaging for outbound shipments.**

**Put-away material to designated storage locations.**

**Pick as per request from departments or picking list.**

**Sampling of raw materials.**

**Co-operate in other logistic activities**

**Responding and acting to alarms - BMS**

**Handle goods flows**

**Handle upgrades and or expansion programs of the materials management processes.**

**Ensure cGMP storage and flow of (raw) materials**

**Maintain**

**Order and timing of inbound / outbound activities.**

**Maintain high inventory accuracy and cycle count as required.**

**Housekeeping and cleanliness of warehouse and equipment.**

**Physical systems and tools for goods flow processing.**

**Daily warehouse equipment checks and maintain logbook.**

**Maintain excellent customer service - internally and for when dealing with suppliers/transportation companies.**

**Shipments**

**Supporting all shipments**

**Assisting in driving company trucks when required**

**Procurement**

**Support procurement activities as and when required**

**Projects**

**Collaboration in special projects when needed**

**_ Responsibilities-_**
- ** Accurate, complete, timely and consistent administration of all material movement related processes to cGMP standards**:

- ** Execution of specific EH&S tasks.**:

- ** Maintain safety, security and housekeeping standards.**:

- ** Cycle counts as per SOP requirement.**:

- ** Participate in warehouse PPI activities**

**_ Minimum Requirements/Qualifications-_**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- ** Warehouse certification or similar.**:

- ** SAP (or other ERP) system experience.**:

- ** GDP (Good Distribution practice) and GMP**:

- ** Inventory and materials management experience**:

- ** Experience working in a manufacturing facility.**:

- ** Valid Forklift and MR Truck License**

- ** Activities within the warehouse department need to be done in line with EH&S and cGMP policies along with a high degree of work scheduling and prioritization of job tasks.**

**Other Job Requirements**:
Conform to EH&S processes and ensure a safe and balanced workplace environment. Work safely and only perform tasks if currently proficient and / or authorized. Report hazardous conditions, hazardous actions, incidents and near-miss incidents. Participate in EH&S activities (such as inspections and risk assessments) as advocated.
