Product Owner

About the role

Your role as a Product Owner of the Information Security Policy Governance and Controls squad, is to enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team ('Squad') to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad. The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer (i.e. internal and external stakeholders) at the heart of their decision making. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage inter-dependencies. Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver stakeholder value at pace.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Enabling and inspiring a multi-disciplinary and technically focused Squad to pursue the delivery of work

Ensuring the work is operationally and strategically aligned to the Tribes mission

Regular collaborative engagement with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies

Galvanising the squad and external stakeholders around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver at pace and influencing stakeholders to continuously improve processes

Planning and prioritisation of work with Product Area Leads and Product Owner

Understanding the value of what the squad works on and being clear how it aligns to the Tribe/ANZ’s priorities

Developing, delivering and maintaining the Global Information Security policy and supporting standards including linkages to Security Technology Controls, regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Leading Information Security compliance capabilities and reporting with a view to measuring ongoing Information Security regulatory compliance

Leading and guiding Global Information Security Risk Management including maturity, regulatory and change risk consulting and assessments

Leading Global Information Security Regulatory Attestations including regulator and audit requests
